SAMBAD is known as No-1 Odia Daily news paper of the state having largest circulation and readerships among Oriyas both inside and out side the state. Ama Odisha is a platform of social and educational movement dedicated for the cause of upholding the Odia language and literature besides undertaking various social causes including blood donation drive, which is unprecedented and unique in the state. The Trust is an off spring of Eastern Media Limited (EML) which owns Sambad, 104 FM Radio, Kanak TV Channel and a very successful enertainment house. The Trust and the EML are promoted by Sri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, a BHU and London School of Economics alumnus, who is well known in the state as an eminent editor, academician and social activist. |
